Managers who advise on retail off-exchange forex transactions, including forex hedge funds, will need to register with the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) through the National Futures Association (NFA). The new registration requirements will include the distribution of risk disclosure statements to customers and compliance with comprehensive recordkeeping and reporting requirements, among others.
